The Fischer group of companies is a family-owned enterprise, founded by Artur Fischer in 1948. His son Klaus took on the overall management of the group in 1980, today heading the group as owner and CEO of the holding. Established as a Swabian workshop business during the first postwar years, the company later developed rapidly. Faithful to its roots, Fischer still has its headquarters and principal site in Waldachtal Tumlingen in the northern Black Forest around 40 miles southwest of Stuttgart. The group’s outstanding powers of innovation have not only resulted in the development of many new products but also in a number of new business fields. Today, the group includes 43 national companies and sells its products worldwide.

Chemicals: If the load requirements for steel anchors become too high, Fischer chemical fixings are needed. Also, if there are extreme temperature effects, dynamic or seismic effects, and even for assembly applications under water, Fischer solves even the most challenging fixing problems. For example, with the FIS SB combined capsule and injection system for fixing maximum loads in cracked or non-cracked concrete.

Plastic: The grey S anchor from 1958, its successor SX with quadruple spread, or the UX universal anchor are still the most-sold and copied traditional anchors around the world. And with other innovations, Fischer is constantly setting new benchmarks, for example, with SXRL, the problem-solver with a long expansion part specifically for modern, high-insulating building materials. Or Fischer Thermax for thermally separated stand-off installation in external thermal insulation composite systems (ETICS).

Greenline fixing range: With its Greenline products, Fischer is the first manufacturer in the world to offer a product line of bio-based fixing systems. With these, they are addressing all customers who greatly value sustainability when building, renovating, and decorating, even when it comes to installation. All Greenline products are manufactured using at least 50% renewable raw materials.

Electrical fixings: The electrical fixings are the consistent continuation of Fischer fixing competence in the area of electrical and building technology. The range is based on plug-in elements, which automatically wedge in the drill hole and thereby virtually combine the function of anchor and screw. A convenient solution for fast and material-saving one-hand assembly.

Insulation fixings: Ecological and sustainable thinking and action are permanent components of contemporary construction projects. External walls are the part of the building where the highest energy savings can be achieved with the right insulation. Fischer fixings for external thermal insulation composite systems ensure an optimal fixing of the thermal insulation, are economical, energy-efficient, and easy to use.

Installation systems: With this range, Fischer provides a system for the safe guiding and fixing of all kinds of media lines in building technology. Universal rails, brackets, joint and construction elements, clamps, and assembly accessories can be used in extremely varied combinations and in many applications. Façade technology: Fischer provides a complete system for ventilated curtain façades with innovative panel anchors and complete sub-structure systems. It is the key to a new façade aesthetic. Screws: Fischer offers a wide range of screws for the entire wood trade, including chipboard screws, partially and fully threaded screws for constructive wood construction, and special screws, e.g., for decking.
