Network Rail’s East Coast Main Line electrification project used Lindapter types A, B and C in various combinations to secure brackets for overhead catenary systems. They enabled an adjustable fixing point to be made without the necessity for welding or drilling steel column supports, offering a marked reduction in installation cost for the 1400 miles of conductor cable.
