Name a Cable – Wend’s Story
Mel and Wend’s Family And Friends Have Nominated Wend To Be Honoured For Name A Cable
Our amazing Wend aka Bungle was first diagnosed with breast cancer in September 2014. As always, she continued to be the glue that held her family, and all those close to her, together. She battled through her treatment, alongside her wonderful mom Lorna (who cruelly was also suffering the same illness) and got given the all clear after gruelling chemo and radiotherapy. Sadly, it wasn’t forever and in September 2015 we were given the awful news that it had come back and spread. She continued to fight, and we had the most amazing Christmas with their family and ours.
In January 2016, we all had to say our final goodbyes, and she passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her nearest and dearest. She raised two absolutely amazing daughters, Lucy and Bec, and will forever be remembered and loved by us all.
